PANews, October 26 — Analyst Darkfost noted that as BTC holds steady above the $80,000 mark, retail investor inflows have hit a 6-month high. An analysis of Bitcoin capital flows indicates that the behavior of "whales" (large holders) and retail investors is currently moving in opposite directions.

On the retail side, inflows to Binance are surging sharply. As BTC remains stable above $80,000 for consecutive weeks, deposits from small holders have reached their highest level in 6 months. Based on 30-day cumulative data, this figure has climbed from $5.5 billion to $10.75 billion. On the whale side, over the past two months, their BTC deposits to Binance have continued to decline, dropping from $5.9 billion at the end of August to the current $3.8 billion, showing no signs of urgency to enter.

The analysis suggests that retail investors appear to view this rally as a distribution window, while whales remain patient, with no indications of large-scale distribution. The divergence in behavior between the two sides warrants continued attention.
