Affirm Holdings Inc. reported fourth-quarter results after Thursday's market close that beat expectations across the board. Here are the details from the report.

Affirm Fourth-Quarter Details

Affirm reported quarterly earnings per share of $4.62.

Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.17 billion, surpassing the analyst consensus estimate of $1.11 billion and up from $876.42 million in the same period last year. Gross merchandise volume totaled $11.6 billion, up 35% year over year.

Total transaction volume for the quarter grew to 45 million transactions, an increase of 45%, outpacing overall GMV growth.

"We delivered another excellent quarter against a macro backdrop of global economic uncertainty," said CEO Max Levchin.

Outlook: Affirm expects first-quarter revenue in the range of $1.19 billion to $1.22 billion, versus analyst estimates of $1.16 billion.

AFRM Price Action: According to market data, Affirm shares rose 7.76% in Thursday's after-hours trading to $83.44 per share.
