NVIDIA's RTX Spark series PCs, developed in partnership with MediaTek, are expected to launch this fall, with Microsoft and more game developers recently announcing updates and support for the platform. ASUS and MSI's first batch has been fully booked, and they are seeking additional allocations from NVIDIA. ASUS co-CEO Hu Shubin noted that channel customer bookings have exceeded expectations, with the initial supply fully reserved, and the company is actively requesting more shipments from NVIDIA while maintaining a highly optimistic outlook for next year's sales. MSI product chief Peng Renfang revealed that customers in mainland China, Taiwan, and the U.S. are placing active orders, and the first batch of laptops featuring the high-end N1X chip is nearly sold out, with MSI actively pursuing additional supply from NVIDIA. The RTX Spark superchip is built on TSMC's 3nm process, featuring an NVIDIA Blackwell RTX GPU connected to a 20-core Grace CPU, and runs on the Windows on Arm architecture. NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang stated that RTX Spark brings CUDA, RTX, and AI platforms together into a single superchip, enabling on-device agents, front-end models, creative workflows, and RTX games to run on laptops—"This is the new PC, the personal AI PC." The processors come in a high-end N1x variant and a mainstream N1 variant, with actual pricing for N1x-equipped PCs yet to be announced, though the market generally expects prices to start at 110,000 yuan. The first wave of partner brands includes ASUS, MSI, Dell, HP, Lenovo, and Microsoft, with Acer and Gigabyte set to follow. NVIDIA recently announced at Gamescom 2026 in Germany that multiple game developers are bringing a range of titles to the RTX Spark lineup.
