Atlassian Corp. shares extended Thursday's gains on Friday, hitting a fresh all-time high. Here's what you need to know.

Atlassian stock is approaching a key resistance level. Why is TEAM trading at highs?

Salesforce's Strong Earnings Lift Enterprise Software Sector

Salesforce Inc.'s second-quarter report, released after Wednesday's close, triggered a broad rally in enterprise software stocks on Thursday, with momentum carrying into Friday. Revenue came in at $11.35 billion, beating the $11.32 billion analyst estimate, up 11% year-over-year, while adjusted earnings per share of $5.90 far exceeded the expected $3.27.

Looking ahead, Salesforce guided third-quarter revenue in the range of $11.42 billion to $11.5 billion, above the $11.41 billion consensus, with adjusted EPS expected between $3.42 and $3.44, versus the $3.37 market forecast.

The company also raised its full-year revenue outlook to $46.1 billion–$46.4 billion, up from the prior $45.9 billion–$46.2 billion range, and lifted full-year adjusted EPS guidance to $16.67–$16.71 from $14.06–$14.12.

Beyond the Salesforce connection, Atlassian shares also set a new record on Friday. The stock broke above $194, surpassing its previous 52-week high of $185.73, marking an all-time high.

Atlassian's Rally Looks Extended on the Charts

The new high comes with a technical picture that reflects just how far the stock has run. Shares are currently trading about 24% above their 20-day moving average of $155.14 and roughly 78% above the 200-day moving average of $108.34 — a deviation that typically signals an overheated trend. The golden cross formed in August, when the 50-day moving average crossed above the 200-day, has reinforced the bullish backdrop and tends to attract trend-following buyers.

Momentum is now the dominant story. The relative strength index sits at 79.87, deep in overbought territory, indicating the rally has outpaced recent norms. That doesn't necessarily mean a reversal is imminent, but it does raise the odds of a pause, pullback, or increased volatility if buying momentum fades.

Traders are watching $157.50 as a support level, which aligns closely with the 20-day moving average — a zone that has historically served as an early entry point in strong uptrends.

TEAM Stock Is Climbing

As of Friday's writing, Atlassian shares were up 4.40% at $193.79, trading at a new 52-week high.
