In August, China's AI chip leaders released a wave of semi-annual reports. Last Friday, Biren Technology posted financial results showing revenue growth of nearly 20-fold year-on-year. Other top players, including Cambricon and Moore Threads, also reported significant revenue increases. On the supply side, high-end computing power remains constrained across the entire chain, with some companies' orders already booked out three years in advance. Downstream AI computing centers face tight resource availability, while midstream system integration segments are also seeing dense order flows. According to industry survey data, domestic AI chip demand in 2026 is estimated at around 4 million units, while actual deliveries stand at roughly 3 million units, leaving a gap of about one million units.
