PANews, October 10 - Crypto analyst Darkfost stated that Bitcoin's current trajectory resembles the market pattern seen from late 2025 to early 2026, with prices continuing to fluctuate around the capital-weighted cost basis level.

According to the analysis, this capital-weighted cost basis is currently approximately $80,500. Unlike the realized price, which only accounts for purchase prices, this metric weights holding costs based on the scale of invested capital, making it a key zone for assessing the market's average profit-and-loss status.

Darkfost noted that this current zone serves as a critical pivot where investors are, on average, at the breakeven point between profit and loss, and market uncertainty may prompt more investors to take action. At present, this level continues to provide support, but subsequent price movements warrant ongoing monitoring.
