Claude Launches "MHS Protocol," a Robotic Version of "MCP," Facilitating LLM-Robot Interaction

Anthropic has launched the "hardware version of MCP"—the MHS protocol—enabling large models like Claude to directly "read" and control robots, scientific instruments, and industrial equipment, replacing paper manuals and expert experience. Early testing has been completed with partners including AWS and Hugging Face, and the protocol will be open-sourced after the preview period, targeting the trillion-dollar autonomous machine sector.
