Coinbase CEO: Tokenized Assets Will Give Rise to Entirely New Financial Companies

Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong said in a post on X that Apple did not foresee Uber, TikTok, or Coinbase, but the iPhone gave rise to a new wave of companies. Tokenized assets on the blockchain will be similar, with known immediate benefits including global access, better utility, and 24/7 trading, but unimaginable new financial companies will be built on top of this.
