On CNBC's "Mad Money Lightning Round," Jim Cramer recommended buying Cisco Systems, noting the company just posted a very strong quarter. "I know their guidance was very conservative, but that's about it," he added.

On August 12, Cisco reported better-than-expected fiscal Q4 2026 results. The company guided fiscal 2027 revenue to $72.2 billion to $73.4 billion, versus market expectations of $68.69 billion. It also guided full-year adjusted EPS to $5.05-$5.11, versus market expectations of $4.80.

Cramer said Apple is "still a buy" and that he would hold the stock rather than trade it. "I know we're getting a new CEO, and I make no secret of my admiration for Tim Cook. I do want to learn about the new CEO, and I don't know John Ternus. But if Tim Cook says the company will be in good hands, I believe it will be, because he has been the North Star for me all along," he added.

On Wednesday, Apple confirmed its "glowtime" event will begin at 10 a.m. PT on September 9, with the launch expected to be held at Apple Park and streamed online. The event carries particular significance because Ternus will succeed Cook as CEO on September 1.

"Let me put it this way—if you think, like I do, that we could see runaway inflation," Cramer said when asked about Vale, "I would actually use it as a hedge."

BofA Securities analyst Caio Ribeiro downgraded Vale from Buy to Neutral on August 5 and cut the price target from $18 to $16.

When asked about ERock Inc, he said: "We're not going to touch that stock. I mean, if you want to be in that space, you should go with CoreWeave."

On the earnings front, ERock reported better-than-expected Q2 results on August 11.

Stock moves:
Vale shares rose 1% on Thursday to close at $15.31.
Apple shares gained 0.4% in Thursday's session to close at $314.58.
Cisco shares fell 0.2% on Thursday to close at $112.15.
Erock shares rose 1.9% to close at $13.23.
