CXMT Responds to Lawsuit Against US Department of Defense

August 29 news, according to Jin10, ChangXin Memory Technologies (CXMT) filed a lawsuit against the US Department of Defense on August 28 Eastern Time. CXMT stated that it has filed a lawsuit with the US District Court for the District of Columbia, alleging that the US Department of Defense erroneously placed it on the "Chinese military companies" list, on which the company was first included in January 2025. CXMT is not a military company and only develops and manufactures DRAM (Dynamic Random Access Memory) products for commercial and civilian use, not for military purposes.
