CZ Participates in BNC Renaming Poll, Backs "BNB Standard"

On September 18, Binance founder CZ stated that he participated as a community member in the poll for renaming BNB treasury company BNC. After weighing multiple candidate names, he found his choice aligned with the voting results of other community members.

CZ believes that "BNB Treasure Company," abbreviated as BTC, could easily cause confusion; "Strategy" might remind people of MSTR; and the term "Reserve" appears too conservative. In contrast, he prefers "BNB Standard," describing the name as more powerful.

BNC previously launched a consultative poll, inviting the community to suggest names for the company's future identity, with candidates including: BNB Reserve, BNB Strategies, BNB Treasury Company, and BNB Standard. BNC stated that this poll does not constitute a shareholder vote, and the final name remains subject to board approval and legal review.
