According to Salus monitoring, the attacker behind crypto payment service provider Triple-A has transferred 4,970 ETH (worth approximately $12.4 million) to the mixing tool Tornado Cash. In July this year, the attacker stole assets from Triple-A's own treasury, with publicly estimated losses of around $11.8 million. After bridging funds to the Ethereum network and completing token swaps, the attacker distributed the funds to two intermediate addresses on September 6. The attacker consolidated the two fund flows into a single wallet and deposited them into Tornado Cash in batches, including 49 transactions of 100 ETH and 7 transactions of 10 ETH, with some funds originating from earlier withdrawals from the mixer.
