The chipmaker announced Monday that it is expanding its AI product line with new processors and graphics products aimed at improving how enterprises handle AI workloads across data centers, laptops, and other devices.
Intel Expands AI Product Portfolio in Data Center and PC Segments
At the Hot Chips 2026 conference, Intel highlighted three products targeting different areas of the AI market: Diamond Rapids for large-scale enterprise workloads, Crescent Island for running AI models in data centers, and Wildcat Lake for laptops and edge devices.
Diamond Rapids targets large-scale commercial AI applications, supporting up to 256 cores, providing enterprises with more compute capacity to handle demanding workloads.
Intel designed the processor to improve performance, efficiency, and scalability while processing large volumes of data.
Crescent Island Targets Lower AI Operating Costs
Crescent Island focuses on reducing the cost of running AI models. The graphics processor supports up to 480GB of memory and is designed to handle larger models and more concurrent AI tasks while reducing cooling requirements.
Intel stated the product helps enterprises extract more value from existing data center infrastructure and improve returns on AI spending.
Wildcat Lake Brings AI Features to More Affordable Devices
Wildcat Lake brings AI capabilities to more affordable laptops and edge devices. The processor integrates compute, graphics, and dedicated AI features while supporting Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0.
Together, these three products expand Intel's ability to address AI demand across data centers, enterprises, and consumer devices, while offering customers options designed around different performance, power, and cost requirements.
