PANews reported on October 26, citing Zhitong Finance, that JPMorgan analyst Samik Chatterjee maintained an "overweight" rating on Microsoft with a target price of $625.
In the research note, the analyst mentioned that investors will closely track the growth momentum of Azure, commercial Microsoft 365 cloud, and Copilot. "However, compared to the quarterly results themselves, the stock price reaction may be more driven by the outlook," Chatterjee said, noting that investors want to see signals of sustainable cloud and AI growth. Yorkville Ives analyst Dan Ives on Friday maintained an "outperform" rating on Microsoft with a target price of $615. Ives listed Microsoft among his "top five tech picks by 2027." Ives said that the concentrated earnings releases from hyperscale cloud vendors like Microsoft, Alphabet, and Amazon could help "calm the volatile market."
