Ledger Security Incident Drains Dormant Wallet of 59 ETH

PANews, October 10 - According to Lookonchain monitoring, a user's long-dormant wallet lost 59 ETH, worth approximately $146,800, to an attack linked to the Ledger security incident after transferring assets to a new wallet.

It is reported that the old wallet had been securely stored for over 8 years and had been inactive for more than 4 years. A month ago, the user moved assets to a new wallet, after which the attacker subsequently stole all the ETH from it.
