On September 16, the Lido community proposed a centralized exchange liquidity management proposal, aiming to initiate professional market-making services when LDO trading volume declines, trading pair liquidity is insufficient, or there is a risk of delisting. The plan proposes providing up to $1.5 million worth of recallable market-making inventory, not exceeding 7.5 million LDO, and allocating up to 480,000 USDC for fixed service fees and related costs.
The authorization is valid for two years, with a maximum execution period of 12 months after activation, and the Lido Growth Committee will decide whether to activate it based on market liquidity. The proposal emphasizes that the relevant funds are solely for maintaining two-way liquidity and the continued listing of trading pairs, and do not involve price support or market manipulation.
