PANews reported on November 6, according to Digital Asset, that Mastercard has been granted two U.S. patents designed to assess money laundering risk before users conduct cryptocurrency transfers, and to complete approvals without disclosing transaction details to outside parties.

According to documents published by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office on November 6, Mastercard obtained these two patents on November 3. The first technology can analyze the recipient's historical transaction records before a transfer, and calculate the projected increase in the user's own risk score after the transaction is completed, helping users decide whether to proceed. The second technology allows transactions to be processed within a private network composed of authorized nodes, with a central system verifying balances and deciding whether to approve, thereby protecting transaction privacy and preventing double-spending.
