PANews, September 18 - According to a report by Bloomberg citing investor documents, Nvidia has committed $2 billion to Brookfield Asset Management's global artificial intelligence infrastructure fund. While the two parties had previously disclosed their collaboration, this document marks the first time the specific investment scale has been revealed. Both Nvidia and the Kuwait Investment Authority serve as anchor investors in the fund, which focuses on AI factories, behind-the-meter power solutions, and computing infrastructure.
Brookfield is currently raising $10 billion for this AI infrastructure fund and plans to raise approximately $50 billion for its infrastructure business over the next two years. The company is also a member of Nvidia's AI computing infrastructure financing alliance, which aims to mobilize over $500 billion in third-party capital.
