Major U.S. stock indexes closed lower on Wednesday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average falling 0.21% to 53,463.88, the S&P 500 slipping 0.02% to 7,675.70, and the Nasdaq declining 0.08% to 26,130.19.

NVIDIA Corporation

Nvidia shares fell 1.59% to close at $209.66. The stock hit an intraday high of $213.60 and a low of $209.23, with a 52-week range of $164.07 to $236.54. In after-hours trading, the stock rose 4.71% to $219.53.

The company, led by Jensen Huang, reported second-quarter revenue of $96.22 billion, up 106% year-over-year, beating analyst estimates of $92.18 billion. Adjusted earnings per share of $2.22 also surpassed the expected $2.10. The company guided third-quarter revenue to $105.84 billion to $110.16 billion, above Wall Street's expectation of $104.2 billion, but slowing year-over-year growth and the exclusion of China data center revenue pressured shares in after-hours trading.

Salesforce Inc

Salesforce reported fiscal 2027 second-quarter revenue of $11.35 billion, up 11% year-over-year, beating analyst estimates of $11.32 billion. Adjusted earnings per share of $5.90 significantly exceeded the expected $3.27. The company raised its full-year revenue guidance to $46.1 billion to $46.4 billion and adjusted EPS guidance to $16.67 to $16.71, while also announcing a new AI partnership with Anthropic.

CrowdStrike Holdings Inc

Okta reported second-quarter revenue of $805 million and adjusted EPS of $1.05, beating analyst estimates of $795.12 million and 97 cents, respectively. Revenue grew from $728 million in the same period last year. The company also raised its fiscal 2027 outlook, projecting revenue of $3.22 billion to $3.23 billion and adjusted EPS of $3.90 to $3.94, driving shares up more than 15% in after-hours trading.

Abercrombie & Fitch Co

Abercrombie & Fitch shares surged 35.67% to close at $147.75. The stock hit an intraday high of $154.58 and a low of $130.24, with a 52-week range of $65.45 to $154.58.

Abercrombie & Fitch reported second-quarter diluted EPS of $4.17 and sales of $1.267 billion, beating estimates of $1.99 per share and $1.248 billion, respectively.
