Ouster Inc. shares fell nearly 5% on Wednesday, underperforming the broader market as technology stocks declined overall. The stock has risen 37.66% over the past 12 months.

The Nasdaq rose 0.06%, while the S&P 500 gained 0.37%. The technology sector fell about 0.5%.

Ouster Subsidiary Brings 3D Vision to Trossen AI Robots

Ouster subsidiary Stereolabs SAS and Trossen Robotics announced a partnership on Tuesday to integrate Stereolabs' stereo cameras into Trossen's Physical AI platform.

The collaboration adds Stereolabs' ZED X Mini and ZED X Nano cameras to Trossen's Workbench and Rivet robot learning systems.

These platforms combine dual robotic arms, NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin computing, and a factory-calibrated three-camera system using Stereolabs hardware.

The ZED X Mini camera captures a wider workspace, while the wrist-mounted ZED X Nano camera provides close-range views for robot manipulation.

The system generates synchronized visual and depth data for imitation learning, reinforcement learning, and simulation-to-reality applications. It also supports ROS 2 as well as NVIDIA Isaac Sim and Isaac Lab.

Technical Analysis

Despite recent weakness, Ouster remains in a long-term uptrend.

The stock sits about 13.7% above its 100-day simple moving average of $36.13. It also trades about 39.8% above its 200-day simple moving average of $29.39.

However, the short-term trend has weakened. Ouster is about 1.1% below its 20-day simple moving average of $41.53 and about 4% below its 50-day simple moving average of $42.81.

The stock's relative strength index stands at 47.65, indicating Ouster is in a neutral zone rather than overbought or oversold extremes.

The 20-day simple moving average remains below the 50-day simple moving average, signaling near-term weakness. However, the 50-day simple moving average still holds above the 200-day simple moving average, following a golden cross that occurred in May.

Ouster hit a 52-week high in June, then reached a swing low in July.

Key resistance sits near $41.50, close to the 20-day simple moving average. Support is near $39.
