⑴ Poland's Ministry of Finance estimates that by the end of August 2026, the country's state debt increased by 35.9 billion zloty month-on-month, approximately 8.24 billion euros, up 1.6%, bringing the total to nearly 2.2491 trillion zloty.

⑵ Of this, domestic debt stood at approximately 1.8133 trillion zloty, while foreign currency-denominated debt was about 435.8 billion zloty, accounting for 19.4% of total state debt.

⑶ By the end of July 2026, Poland's state debt had exceeded 2.2131 trillion zloty.

⑷ Overall, Poland's state debt continues its upward trend, with foreign currency debt approaching one-fifth of the total. Going forward, attention should be paid to the impact of zloty exchange rate fluctuations and changes in domestic and international financing costs on the debt burden.
