Polymarket Intelligence Chief Says Ready for Midterm Election Violative Trading

Polymarket's new global investigations and intelligence chief, Shana Bautista (a former Coinbase analyst and FBI investigator), said that as the U.S. midterm elections approach, Polymarket has systems in place to identify anomalous trading activity and will continue to block U.S. users from its international platform, in line with the 2022 settlement agreement with U.S. regulators.

Additionally, Polymarket plans to launch a new webpage disclosing details of its market integrity review mechanisms, including machine learning, blockchain analysis, and transaction monitoring, and revealed that it has referred over 100 cases to law enforcement.
