【Putin: GECF Members Hold 70% of Global Gas Reserves, ~40% of Exports】

(1) Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) member states collectively account for 70% of global natural gas reserves.

(2) In his address to participants of the forum summit, Putin stated that member states have made significant contributions to ensuring global energy security and promoting balanced development internationally and regionally.

(3) Putin noted that forum member states account for approximately 40% of global natural gas exports.
