Positive Interim Phase 2/3 Data for QRX003 Meets Primary Endpoint

Early market optimism centered on the company's positive interim results from the CL-QRX003-004 Phase 2/3 trial, evaluating 4% QRX003 lotion in patients with Netherton syndrome.

An interim analysis of the first six patients who completed 12 weeks of treatment showed that 66.7% achieved the targeted improvement of 1 grade or more on the Investigator's Global Assessment, meeting the pre-specified statistical significance threshold with a p-value of 0.0087.

Additionally, all three participants with moderate-to-severe pruritus at baseline achieved a clinically meaningful improvement of 3 grades or more on the Worst Itch Numeric Rating Scale, with no treatment-related serious adverse events reported.

Quoin expects to complete patient enrollment by the end of 2026 and release full top-line data in the second quarter of 2027, targeting the first FDA-approved therapy for Netherton syndrome.

Private Placement of Up to $50 Million Extends Cash Runway to 2029

Alongside the clinical update, Quoin announced a securities purchase agreement with healthcare-focused institutional investors to raise gross proceeds of up to $50 million.

The deal includes approximately $30.8 million in initial upfront funding, plus potential cash exercises of accompanying warrants for an additional up to $19.2 million.

Combined net proceeds are expected to fund operations into the second half of 2029.
