Samsung and SK Hynix to Mass Produce HBM4 for NVIDIA in Q2 Next Year

Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix plan to begin mass production and delivery of 8-layer HBM4 in the second quarter of next year, supplying NVIDIA. According to sources familiar with the matter, NVIDIA will equip its Rubin Ultra NVL rack scale with 8-layer HBM4, and the proportion of 8-layer HBM4 is expected to increase significantly from mid-next year.
