PANews, November 6 - According to the South China Morning Post, Joseph Chee, Chairman and CEO of Nasdaq-listed SOL treasury company Solana Company, said the company plans to expand its Hong Kong team from the current fewer than 10 people to up to 30, to capture growing tokenization demand in Hong Kong. He noted that many large financial institutions in Hong Kong are only just beginning to consider or launch tokenization projects, with progress still slower than in the U.S., and the company expects to form a judgment on the Hong Kong market within about six months; if no major tokenization service provider emerges in Hong Kong by then, the company may build its own team. Solana Company was designated as a strategic enterprise by Hong Kong's Office for Attracting Strategic Enterprises last month, with its Hong Kong operations also serving as the Asia-Pacific headquarters.
