PANews, September 18 - Stablecoin payment company dtcpay announced today that it has received a strategic investment from Japanese financial giant SBI Group, bringing its total Series A funding to $25 million. The round was led by Vertex Ventures, under Temasek, in April, with follow-on participation from Genedant Capital, which manages over $2 billion in assets, and continued investment from Kwee Liong Tek, founder of Capella Hotel Group. SBI Group stated that this investment marks the beginning of a strategic partnership, aiming to jointly expand the digital asset corridor between Japan and Southeast Asia.
dtcpay, an official member of Visa, has issued compliant stablecoin Visa cards; its licensed presence covers Singapore, Hong Kong, Luxembourg, Australia, the United States, and Canada, among other regions, and continues to expand, providing compliant infrastructure for global stablecoin payments.
