SU Group Holdings Ltd. announced on Monday that its Macau subsidiary has obtained exclusive distribution rights for an AI-assisted robotic infrastructure inspection system.

The stock fell in Monday's pre-market trading.

The agreement grants Shine Union Limited exclusive rights to distribute, market, and sell Inspec Spider products from Green Light Multiplex Co. Limited in Macau. SU Group said the deal creates new revenue opportunities and expands its technology portfolio.

SU Group Expands Macau Operations

Inspec Spider is a robotic system used for inspecting and maintaining high-mast lighting infrastructure. It can climb polygonal poles up to 35 meters tall.

The system is equipped with multiple cameras, including 360-degree imaging capabilities, to record rust and surface conditions. It also features AI-assisted analysis, automatic tilt and balance functions, and both wired and wireless controls.

Traditional inspections typically require workers to operate at height. Inspections may also require road closures and disrupt operations. In contrast, Inspec Spider allows inspections to be conducted from the ground, which can improve worker safety and inspection efficiency.

Technology Targets Infrastructure Market

The technology can be used at airports, bridges, stadiums, highways, and tunnels. It has also undergone field testing at Hong Kong International Airport.

Inspec Spider has received the Edison Award Silver Medal and a gold medal at the Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions.

SU Group Chairman and CEO Dave Chan said the partnership strengthens the company's new Macau operations while supporting its broader geographic expansion strategy.

Green Light Multiplex, founded in 1991, provides lighting systems, smart controls, and smart city technologies. More information is available on the Green Light Multiplex website.

SU Group provides security engineering, security services, screening, and vocational training services in Hong Kong.

SUGP Stock Performance: SU Group Holdings stock fell 6.88% to $1.49 in Monday's pre-market trading.
