Telegram Rolls Out Gram Wallet to Select Users, to Gradually Open to 1 Billion Users in Coming Weeks

September 1 news, Telegram founder and CEO Pavel Durov announced that Telegram has launched Gram Wallet for some users and plans to gradually open it to over 1 billion Telegram users in the coming weeks. Pavel Durov stated that the smart contract behind Gram Wallet has been approved by Validators, paving the way for further expansion of the wallet. It is reported that Gram Wallet is based on the Telegram ecosystem and TON network, and is expected to further lower the barrier for users to enter the crypto asset space in the future, while promoting deep integration between crypto wallets and social applications.
