According to TrendForce's latest memory industry research, in Q2 2026, a significant rise in contract prices for Conventional DRAM drove overall DRAM industry revenue up 59.5% quarter-over-quarter, reaching nearly $154.73 billion. As LLM model training and AI inference stimulate AI Server demand, shipments of HBM3e, LPDDR5X, and high-capacity RDIMM grew in tandem, while Agentic AI applications drove procurement of RDIMMs across various capacity specifications. On the supply side, original equipment manufacturers' inventories remain at trough levels, and new supply is prioritized for Server applications, resulting in modest growth in overall DRAM bit shipments in Q2.
