According to a Fox News report, Trump is in "decision mode" and has hinted that significant developments could come soon.

On Thursday, Trump told Axios he was considering whether to "obliterate" the Iranian regime, suggesting that "anything can happen" under his leadership.

The speculation follows reports that Trump is expected to meet with six Persian Gulf leaders during the UN General Assembly. The Trump administration has allowed a "core delegation" of Iranian officials to attend the meeting, including Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.

The ongoing US-Israel conflict in Iran has driven global energy prices higher, with the national average gasoline price reaching $4.476 per gallon on Sunday, according to AAA Gas Prices. Over the past seven months, Iran's closure of the Strait of Hormuz has been a significant factor pushing prices up.
