Tesla rose 3.3% after Barclays upgraded its rating from Equal Weight to Overweight. Meta Platforms fell 0.77% as the company plans to raise up to $95 billion through a share offering to support AI growth. Memory chip stocks advanced, with SK Hynix up 1.9%, Micron Technology up 1.2%, and SanDisk up 0.6%.
