Ulta Beauty Inc reported better-than-expected second-quarter earnings on Thursday.

The company posted quarterly earnings per share of $6.55, beating the consensus analyst estimate of $6.16. The company reported quarterly sales of $3.036 billion, surpassing the consensus estimate of $2.955 billion.

Ulta Beauty raised its fiscal 2026 GAAP EPS guidance from $28.36-$28.80 to $28.70-$29.00, and lifted its sales guidance from $13.136 billion-$13.260 billion to $13.223 billion-$13.285 billion.

"Our team delivered another impressive quarter, achieving strong sales, profit, and earnings growth, demonstrating our disciplined execution and the progress of our 'Ulta Beauty Unleashed' strategy," said President and CEO Kecia Steelman. "We continue to strengthen our position as the ultimate beauty destination, leveraging our deep understanding of our guests to drive excitement and growth through compelling innovation, value, experience, and convenience."

Ulta Beauty shares fell 3.6% on Friday to $520.68.

Following the earnings release, analysts adjusted their price targets for Ulta Beauty.

BofA Securities analyst Lorraine Hutchinson maintained a Buy rating and lowered the price target from $685 to $650.

Goldman Sachs analyst Kate McShane maintained a Buy rating and raised the price target from $648 to $667.
