Autodesk Inc. shares fell on Friday after the company reported fiscal second-quarter results Thursday after the close and issued weaker-than-expected third-quarter EPS guidance. Additionally, the company narrowed its fiscal 2027 adjusted EPS guidance range, with the midpoint below expectations.

Second-Quarter Highlights
Autodesk reported adjusted EPS of $3.30, beating the consensus estimate of $3.12. The company also posted revenue of $2.046 billion, above the expected $2.012 billion.
"We delivered a strong second quarter with consistent execution and momentum. Our sales transformation is progressing as planned," said Autodesk CFO Janesh Moorjani.
"We raised our fiscal 2027 billings and revenue growth guidance to reflect higher embedded growth and incremental contributions from MaintainX."
Updated Fiscal 2027 Guidance
Autodesk narrowed its fiscal 2027 adjusted EPS guidance to a range of $12.52 to $12.60, down from the prior range of $12.40 to $12.65, versus the consensus of $12.60. The company raised its fiscal 2027 revenue guidance to a range of $8.575 billion to $8.650 billion, up from the prior range of $8.155 billion to $8.215 billion, versus the consensus of $8.206 billion.
For the third quarter, Autodesk expects adjusted EPS in the range of $3.04 to $3.09, versus the consensus of $3.14, and revenue in the range of $2.125 billion to $2.140 billion, versus the consensus of $2.082 billion.
