CRWD Eyes AI Security Growth
CrowdStrike CEO George Kurtz called Q2 the company's "best quarter" ever, saying its Mythos milestone drove broader recognition that AI adoption requires strong security. He believes securing AI-driven enterprises represents CrowdStrike's biggest market opportunity yet.
Meanwhile, Cathie Wood's ARK Invest sold 14,339 CrowdStrike shares through its ARK Next Generation Internet ETF (BATS: ARKW), worth about $2.7 million, despite the cybersecurity company reporting a stronger-than-expected Q2.
Earlier this month, Cantor Fitzgerald analyst Jonathan Ruykhaver projected CrowdStrike's security data, expertise and Project QuiltWorks as key advantages in AI-driven cybersecurity. He expects QuiltWorks to boost sales across multiple security products, while CrowdStrike's broad platform supports its premium valuation and raised expectations for strong execution.
