$3.124 Billion Liquidated Across Crypto Market in Past 24 Hours, Longs Hit Hardest at $2.838 Billion

August 20 — According to CoinGlass data, total cryptocurrency market liquidations reached $3.124 billion over the past 24 hours, with long positions liquidated at $285 million and short positions at $2.838 billion. A total of 183,180 traders were liquidated.

Among them, BTC liquidations totaled approximately $1.600 billion, ETH approximately $1.087 billion, SOL approximately $91.5703 million, XRP approximately $31.8326 million, XAU approximately $22.9525 million, and other assets combined roughly $291 million. The largest single liquidation order in the past 24 hours occurred on Hyperliquid's BTC-USD trading pair, valued at $48.8049 million.
