The current Mac mini has gained popularity due to rising demand for running AI applications locally, but supply lead times have extended amid a memory chip shortage. The new Mac mini is part of Apple's second-half product refresh, which also includes a foldable iPhone, the iPhone 18 Pro series, new Apple Watch models, AirPods 5, a smart home device with a display, and an OLED version of the iPad mini.
