Arcus, a DEX built by the dYdX team, has launched a new protocol on Robinhood Chain that converts perpetual futures positions into transferable ERC-20 tokens, allowing users to use tokenized stocks as collateral for leveraged trading. The protocol's offerings include pBTC3x and pHOOD3x, providing 3x exposure to Bitcoin and Robinhood's stock token HOOD, respectively. Its multi-collateral feature initially supports SPY, QQQ, and MAG7 stock tokens, all with a loan-to-value ratio of 50%, allowing users to post tokenized stocks as collateral for perpetual futures positions. Arcus CEO Eddie Zhang stated that traditional markets took decades to make complex investment strategies accessible through products like leveraged ETFs, and the next step is to integrate these strategies natively into blockchain infrastructure. Since its launch on Robinhood Chain, Arcus has accumulated trading volume exceeding $250 million, with average daily volume surpassing $33 million; Robinhood Chain has reached a TVL of $596 million since its July 1 launch, ranking among the top 15 in DeFi TVL.
