Binance Hires Two Senior Compliance Executives from Crypto.com

Binance has brought in two senior compliance executives from Crypto.com: Antonio Alvarez will serve as deputy to Chief Compliance Officer Noah Perlman, and Duncan DeVille will take on the role of head of global financial crime compliance. Both previously worked at Crypto.com and have compliance experience at institutions including Coinbase, Visa, Western Union, and the U.S. Department of the Treasury.

Binance stated that the additions represent a vote of confidence in its compliance program. Over the past year, several senior employees have left Binance's compliance department, with some media reports suggesting that certain departures were linked to how the exchange handled fund flows related to Iran. Binance has denied those reports, saying its compliance systems are operating normally.
