Dormant 11-Year Bitcoin Wallet Moves ~1,214 BTC Worth ~$86 Million Within 24 Hours

On August 20, according to Bitcoin.com, over the past 24 hours, 28 long-dormant bitcoin wallets moved a total of 1,314.41 BTC, worth approximately $94.03 million. Of this, about 1,214.42 BTC came from wallets created in 2014, accounting for 92.4% of the total transferred, valued at approximately $86 million.

On-chain data shows multiple transfers of 50 BTC each from legacy P2PKH addresses to new P2WPKH addresses, with some transactions suggesting possible coordinated activity. Currently, the receiving addresses show no exchange-related tags.
