Franklin Templeton Partners with HashKey to Launch Tokenized Money Market Fund in Asia

August 25 news, according to The Block, Franklin Templeton has partnered with Hong Kong's HashKey Exchange to list its tokenized money market fund, the Franklin OnChain U.S. Government Liquidity Fund, on the HashKey Earn channel. The fund primarily invests in U.S. government money market instruments and U.S. dollar cash assets, targeting professional investors and is not open to the Hong Kong public. Chetan Karkhanis, Senior Vice President of Digital Asset Client Relations at Franklin Templeton, stated that the firm looks forward to leveraging HashKey's multi-jurisdictional platform covering Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, Dubai, and Bermuda to expand more tokenized products.
