Frontier data research lab idler announced the completion of a $9 million seed funding round, led by Paradigm's Alpo and Frankie, with participation from Y Combinator, Long Journey VC, and angel investors including marrc, catheryn_li, dcposch, Janine Leger, Lynett Capital, feross, and nur_daulet_. Positioned as a frontier data research lab, idler will use the funds to build evaluation systems, benchmarks, and reinforcement learning environments for the world's leading frontier labs to train and measure their model performance.
