Gate announced the official launch of its Japan stock trading service, initially covering approximately 300 stocks listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE), including popular targets such as Toyota Motor, Sony Group, SoftBank Group, Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, Nintendo, and Tokyo Electron. Users can directly participate in Japan stock trading on the Gate platform using USDT without separately opening a traditional Japanese brokerage account or converting Japanese yen. Japan stock trading is now available on the Gate Web interface, with the App version expected to launch soon. In terms of trading functions, Japan stocks share the same stock account and related trading capabilities as Gate's US stocks, Hong Kong stocks, and Korean stocks, supporting features such as market data viewing, buying, selling, position management, and trade record inquiries. Japan stocks support intraday trading from 09:00–11:30 and 12:30–15:25 Japan time, corresponding to 08:00–10:30 and 11:30–14:25 UTC+8. The launch of Japan stocks further enriches Gate's global multi-asset trading scenarios. The platform now supports over 10,000 US stocks and ETFs, more than 1,500 Hong Kong stocks, over 1,000 Korean stocks, and approximately 300 Japan stocks, providing trading options for more than 12,800 stocks and ETFs in total. Going forward, Gate will continue to expand into core global markets and high-quality assets, promoting the integration of traditional finance and digital assets to offer users more diversified one-stop asset allocation choices.
