Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang shared data from computing market platform Ornn. Ornn noted that the H100, a training GPU launched years ago, has seen rental prices rise 22% over the past month, reaching $3.28 per GPU per hour. Huang used this to emphasize that Nvidia's computing power can be continuously rented out to generate income, positioning it as a revenue-generating asset. Ornn's H100 index is calculated based on actual rental transaction prices. Its daily settlement price on September 7 was $3.17 per hour, with the latest displayed price further rising to $3.28. Nvidia stated in its latest earnings call that GPUs can be redeployed across different customers and workloads.
