French President Macron stated that Canadian liquefied natural gas (LNG) could play a key role in Europe's energy sector, with bilateral consultations on the matter already underway between the two countries. France and Canada may subsequently hold further discussions on specific details such as LNG supply volumes, transportation routes, and cooperation models. If realized, the cooperation would also provide a new optional pathway for diversifying Europe's energy supply.
