Zhipu MaaS Platform to Launch Data Non-Retention Feature on Evening of Sept 20, Enhancing Data Privacy for Enterprises and Developers

On the evening of September 20, Zhipu's MaaS platform officially announced that it will soon launch a data content non-retention feature, bringing stricter data privacy protection for enterprise and developer users. Zhipu also clarified that this feature does not mean data will not be retained in all scenarios. Functions such as Batch API and File API, which require long-term storage of tasks or files on the platform side, are not covered by this feature. Additionally, if laws and regulations explicitly require data retention, or for the purpose of investigating suspected violations or abuse of platform services, the platform may retain corresponding data for 30 days or longer in accordance with relevant regulations.
