Mysterious AI Model Surpasses GPT-5.6 and Claude in Coding Tests; Technical Traits Point to Unreleased Zhipu Model

An anonymous AI model, "stealth/ox-alpha," has appeared on OpenRouter. Independent researcher Ben Davis found through testing that its video encoder, tokenizer, output style, and other technical traits closely match Zhipu's GLM series, and it outperforms mainstream models like GPT and Claude on some coding benchmarks. Davis stated he is "99% certain" the model originates from Zhipu, though official confirmation is pending.
