Nvidia Earnings Preview: Market Awaits Not Just a "Beat" but the Growth Path

Franklin Templeton portfolio manager Sara Araji said Nvidia investors are focused not only on a "beat" in earnings but also on specifics of the company's capital deployment and spending plans. She noted that Nvidia's forward price-to-earnings ratio over the next 12 months is around 21 times, with the market already pricing in expectations of slowing growth. Nvidia needs to demonstrate earnings growth to justify using its free cash flow for investments and share buybacks.
