On August 21, it was reported that Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang met with Sunghyun Park, co-founder and CEO of South Korean AI chip startup Rebellions, at the company's California headquarters this week to discuss potential technical collaboration, investment, or even acquisition. Sources familiar with the matter said the discussions are still at an early stage and may not result in a deal.
Rebellions has raised nearly $850 million from investors including SK Hynix, Samsung Ventures, and Arm, with its latest valuation at approximately $2.3 billion.
