Nvidia Targets Entry-Level Physical AI, Jetson Orin Nano 2 Doubles Inference Performance, Cuts Power by 40%

While maintaining the same compact form factor, the new entry-level robotics computing platform Jetson Orin Nano 2 delivers 2x the inference performance of the previous-generation Jetson Orin Nano Super; in 15-watt power mode, it achieves the same performance as the prior generation with 40% lower power consumption. Nvidia stated that over 3 million developers are currently building on its robotics technology stack, and the Jetson Orin Nano 2 module and development kit are expected to hit the market in the first half of next year.
